2017 Winter Garden
Visit this year's winter garden at 'Stirling House' 32 Leslie Street, Rangeville
Another treat for camellia fans will be Colin Fitzgerald’s garden which includes almost 100 camellias. Mr Fitzgerald will kindly open his garden to the public on the 15th & 16th July, in conjunction with the show, from 10am to 4pm both days.
Over half of the garden’s camellias are currently in bloom, including the legendary Golden Camellia, Camellia nitidissima; the oldest known specimen in Toowoomba.
Camellias are not the only attraction at this year’s Winter Garden. In addition to camellias, other winter flowers on display will include magnolias and rhododendrons.
Open: 15th & 16th July from 10am to 4pm
Entry Fee to the Winter Garden is $5 ...... Proceeds go to Toowoomba Hospice
