Joan Falvey Camellia Hall Display and Camellia Competitions
Indulge your senses with the beauty and sheer delicacy of the camellia blooms. This hall will again be filled with hundreds of exquisite flowers from perfect whites to brilliant reds, creating a mass of colour and beauty for all to see.
The Joyce Falconer Memorial Championship is open to all camellia lovers. Bring your best named camellia blooms between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm Friday 14th July to TAFE Horticulture Centre, Campbell Street and be in the running to win the prestigious Joyce Falconer Memorial Champion and Reserve Champion.
Preston Peak Wines Competition is also open to all camellia lovers. Bring your best blooms in on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th July, between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm, or Sunday 16th before 11.00 am.
PRESTON PEAK WINES CAMELLIA COMPETITION
This is open to 'green thumb' gardeners of all ages.
Please bring your best blooms to the TAFE Horticulture Centre before 11.00 on Friday & Saturday morning for the judging on Saturday 15th July, and before 11am on the 16th for judging on Sunday 16th July.
Both winners of the Saturday and Sunday judging will receive product presented by Preston Peak Wines.
THE JOYCE FALCONER MEMORIAL CAMELLIA COMPETITION
The Joyce Falconer Memorial Championship is open to all camellia lovers.
Bring your best camellia blooms to the TAFE Horticulture Centre, Campbell St., between 8 am and 1 pm on Friday 14th July 2017 to be in the running to win the prestigious Joyce Falconer Memorial Champion and Reserve Champion prizes and a gift voucher.

The Joyce Falconer Memorial Camellia Competition Rules
- Camellias to be benched between 8am and 1pm on Friday 14th July 2017.
- No entry fee to enter camellia blooms.
- Blooms to be staged in containers supplied by the show committee.
- Prize money may be collected from the Joan Falvey Camellia Hall during the Show.
- Money not collected by 3pm on Sunday will be donated to the Toowoomba Hospice.
Champion Bloom Trophy: Donated by Lynette Shailer. Also a $50 voucher donated by Coroneos Nursery
Reserve Champion Bloom Trophy: Donated by Lynette Shailer
Perpetual Shield: Donated by Len and Shirley Norup for the highest number of points gained by one person
